I got this thing last week and as someone that knows absolutely nothing about these newer flashlights, it's stellar. It's basically a handheld 100+ meter spotlight. The beam is incredibly crisp. Haven't had much long term use with it, it for twenty something bucks, I don't feel like I did bad.
For non-flashlight ppl: This is a thrower - meaning that it illuminates a specific area that you point it at
Cool: thrower. Strong. 21700 battery so long usage at least for a couple of hours. Can be used as a makeshift hammer in a pinch - not a great one but it'll do.
Not so cool: thrower: gotta move it a lot to follow the movement outside of your cabin deep in the woods. 5-mode UI (meaning you have to click through every mode to turn it on/off, USB port kinda weird. Not portable but not strong enough to maim.
