I dislike when they have 2 totally different items in the same listing. Don't confuse the $30 mounting brackets with the $109 mounting rods. A lot of people would buy those rods if they were $30.

How would you even screw these into the rafters? It's not like solar panels are exactly as wide as the distance between the rafters?
You'd need to mount these to a beam, which is then attached to the rafters at proper intervals. Making this whole kit moot.
