I don't understand the knock against it being a switch 1 but better. That's exactly what people wanted. And we got it. If you were perfectly happy with switch 1 performance and screen, then keep using it and wait for a better reason to get the switch 2 (when there are more games for it). Personally I was still using the OG switch, but now I'm getting a switch 2 that has considerably better performance while playing handheld, and an upgraded screen (although not OLED) which is all I asked for. As far as the price proposition is concerned, it's basically a portable PS4, which honestly compared to handheld PCs, $450 is pretty reasonable.

Didnt know that a pro version of a switch was caplable of 10x the power. Lol

Boy this is a switch 2. Not the pro, just like a ps4 and ps5 are basically the same. Just more raw power and a few new features.

It's a trend where switch 2 has multiple titles that have key cartridges already (Bravely Default, Street Fighter 6, and more.) it's up to the publisher to decide. Why does Nintendo allow that? Hmmm

In the link you sent, they also say that it's possible Nintendo's 1st party games aren't like that yet because of availability of the smaller capacity cartridges.

Looking at Nintendo's past and current business practices (including the ones I mentioned in the post you quoted), it's pretty clear what their direction is
