Can you show me where to get new XM5 or XM4 for around this price? I mean, I'd take those over the Beats in a heartbeat, but no such deals are to be had. These Beats are $129 with 90 day returns and Applecare included!
Amazing deal. Tested these out at the Apple Store yesterday and they're great. Not like previous bass bloated Beats. Fun sound signature and decent ANC and transparency. I like the physical buttons too. After testing I bought them yesterday from Costco for $169. Will apply for adjustment. Thanks OP!

So... I got this deal in a round-about way. I purchased the black pair at $169 sale online and when price dropped I drove to Costco nearby to get the $40 discount but found out that the online store and brick/mortar stores are not as connected so I had to call the number to get them to refund me the difference over the phone, which they did with no issues. As long as the purchase was within 30 days of the sales price. The only way to get discount for online purchases in-store is to return the headphones and purchase again. BUT... they are completely out-of-stock online and in-store. So.... I was lucky to have grabbed them in the black color I wanted and now they are almost as cheap as a pair of Beats Solo 4 on sale for $99. With Applecare. I read that these are much better. I haven't even opened the packaging yet to try them. Hope they fit.

Lackluster ANC, and no audio sharing (dealbreaker for me if intended for travel).I'd recommend the Sony XM5 or even XM4 over these.Heard the XM6 are amazing, but they are quite a bit more than these.
I understand people have a problem with this post based on pricing, and they deem it unhelpful because of that, but everything else in this post is the truth. For everyone reading this thread -Beats headphones are okay, they look good, and they have apple's chip so they connect to iPhones with the fancy pop window. Other than that, they're a brand and fashion accessory. At $130, from the MSRP that you'd pay in the Apple Store, yes it's absolutely a deal, but it's not the sound quality that is expected in the MSRP. The other headphones in the MSRP range, such as Sony XM, Bose QC Ultra, B&W, and Sennheiser Momentum are being referenced because they are in that MSRP price tier and are MUCH better quality sound. And that is really not even just an audiophile thing. (Audiophiles are buying Focal Bathys for $700 for wireless cans). So relatively speaking, it's a deal for these, for sure. The Sennheiser Accentum at $100 is better sound-wise but not the fashion. Even the Anker Soundcore Q30 are better sounding at ~$65.

On eBay via Secondipity, you can get an XM5/XM4 for under $200. Price fluctuates, so keep an eye out. I believe a 2-year warranty is included if you purchase from them.

Given, these are refurb, but the XM4's are $160 at Secondipity https://secondipity.com/products/...i9EALw_wcB
The XM5's have been hovering around $150-$200 from the same seller.
I'd recommend getting an older and cheaper pair of the Beats Studio 3's over these. At least those have audio sharing. Compared side by side, the Studio pros are better, but nowhere near the ANC of the Apple Airpods max, or the Sony XM5's.
These don't even have apples chip in them, hence the missing audio sharing feature.
For travel, I ended up picking up a used Galaxy tab s7+. Even as an apple user, it's superior in every way. AMOLED screen, micro SD slot for storage, so plenty of room for offline content, and they will audio share with ANY two bluetooth headphones (including airpods). My XM5s seamlessly switch between all my devices (iPhone, Samsung tablet and ROG Ally) due to the multipoint bluetooth.

Thanks for this. The Studio 3s have the right chip for switching for sure, but they sound bloated and are fatiguing on long flights, and also have worse ANC and still use Micro USB!. My wife isn't an inveterate device switcher and didn't have multipoint on her old cans, so she doesn't know what she's missing. Plus, she doesn't want refurbished headphones, and I don't blame her. I might have gone for the XM4s at that price though. It is tempting.
