Very solid build quality and performance.

+ 240hz is great. I feel the difference substantially from 144hz TN panel
+ OLED is amazing. The contrast, response time, and level of detail is something I didn't even know I was missing. I kind of agree with the "upgrade to an OLED is more substantial than GPU upgrade"
+ HDR is amazing. color pop and quality is next level.
+ Ultra wide is very immersive. No issues with compatibility from ten or fifteen games I've tried so far

Potential negatives:
- burn in risk is real. Should be fine for hours of games and light productivity. Would not recommend OLED for daily work monitor, but some people do this and have no issues. Does have 3 year warranty.

- vrr flicker. Mild in games I've tried. But not just this model. all OLEDs have this when gysnc/free sync enabled and frame rate fluctuates a lot, i.e. menus, cutscenes, etc

- Ambient light is a concern. Mine is in my basement so other light is not an issue. If you are in a bright room, qd OLED does lose contrast and can have a purple ish reflection. WOLED and/or matte finish monitors may work better in bright rooms.

- The USB input is lacking. Only one USB c and one USB a

- No headphone Jack

- It is a blue color on back of the monitor and stand. If that was really off putting for me I would get a monitor arm

Despite all the potential negatives, I am very happy coming from a seven year old dell TN. The side by side is crazy to see

Great deal. Just got one of these from dell.com direct for $641 after discount and Amex $100 cash back.
May still be worth it to try it over there. may be a bit cheaper

I see a 10% off coupon on my Dell Account, 9% back in Dell rewards, 4% via cashback sites, and just in time to use up my Amex Plat credit...

my amex had a $100 back on $500+ spent at dell.com or did
I had to add it from Amex app > offers > dell offer

Unfortunately I got that offer on my Amex Green so I can't combine that with my $200 dell credit on the Amex bus plat. Too bad this is the last half-year they'll have that

Ahhh, I see. That $200 dell credit would make it very good price imo

It is a great monitor for me never owning an OLED/HDR monitor.

If I already had one , would maybe wait one more gen or more upgrades next year

the only issue i found was the text clarity. For gaming you will not be disappointed. You can look for 4k oled if you want an all-in-one monitor

Nice deal and Amex $100 and 5% cash back is also big a plus through Dell is way better https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/cty/apd/210-BRRK, but I just found this one on Costco and ended up going with this instead. few hundred more but worth the long term investment.

I don't know why I never have the Dell deal on Amex platinum.

Also, how does this monitor compare to my aw3421dw? My Window is directly behind my monitor right now, and I find it pretty hard to see some dark scenes with the IPS display. I love my oled tvs though.
