14.7 cents/oz is Sam's regular price. This is more than 16 cents/oz.

While this is better than fruity pebbles it still has at least one really bad ingredient.

Trisodium phosphate (TSP) is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Na 3PO 4. It is a white, granular or crystalline solid, highly soluble in water, producing an alkaline solution. TSP is used as a cleaning agent, builder, lubricant, food additive, stain remover, and degreaser. Safe in small quantities but can lead to kidney and other health issues.

If your kids like peanut butter this might be the healthiest option for them and they should still enjoy it, 4 pack for $20.

If it's due to sugar or something rather than a specific ingredient of Fruity Pebbles, it might be easier to just mix a different, healthier cereal with the pebbles to lower the pebble count. They'd just have to be accepting of the multiple cereal types, different flavors, etc.

I used TSP to wash my walls before I prime+paint.

Yep, but it makes the cereal crispy and crunchy too.

So good! In my family we just eat this in moderation as a dessert rather than a meal.
