Are any of these good for a general mist spray in the summer? I imagine you'd need a bigger hose/straw to hookup to a larger resivour. Wondering how dense these spray/mist

Nope. All of these are essentially worthless. They've been trying to get rid of them for years.

These can be very easily modified to be Waterguns. Use a tiny flathead screwdriver to unscrew and remove the atomizer from the middle of the metal nozzles and you have about a 30ft jet spray.

Mine came with a battery lol. These things are incredibly well made and overbuilt to…disinfect exercise equipment? I'm gonna take the aerator out and use it to blast pesticides

Bought the mister and returned it. It was useless, it took me three complete battery discharges to empty half of the container...there was barely anything coming out of it.

Per the repair sheet [thdstatic.com] - it seems you could do the nozzle hack to get this to be a more general purpose squirt gun. As mentioned earlier - you remove each metal nozzle, and on the inside is an insert that can be unscrewed with a flat head. Then you re-thread the nozzle and have a long range squirt gun.

Lacks the pistol grip style handle of the older model - but could still be fun/useful for the right application. Like squirting moss killer on the roof or whatever.

I bought both. I use one as a bug sprayer and the other one to spray for weeds. Worth every penny in my opinion. I use them all the time.

I'm using it to spray for bugs use it on all the bushes by the time I walk around the yard it's near empty. A bottle of ortho concentrate cost 11$ and lasts a month takes about 5min to do. Reaches 6 or 7 ft out, but doesn't really point up, I leave enough liquid in that I don't have to worry about re priming it. YMMV

I just got the mister and love it as for bug spray around the house. Just gotta make sure to put mask and glasses on.

The sprayer I used for weeds but it seems to waste a lot and it goes crazy fast. The electrostatic does help but still not as helpful from my tests so far.

Isn't RYOBI known to be the dollar store version of real cordless tools? I have never heard anyone talk fondly of a RYOBI who isn't a complete n00b.

$150 for the charger/battery combo seems absurd for Retail price, I thought the $55 tag was retail and it would be $21 on w00t.
