Received an email this afternoon with the subject: "Nintendo Switch 2 delivery follow-up"

We know you were hoping to receive your purchase sooner. Unfortunately, we didn't make that happen. This isn't the experience we intended, and we're sincerely sorry.

I think you're not understanding details. this isn't a new deal but for people who actually preordered the Switch 2 during launch and they did not receive the system on time (while other retailers who fulfilled preorders shipped the consoles for people to play on launch day). Target issued a $50 gift card as an apology and you can see if you can redeem it by going into your target circle.
Shoot! My Target preorder arrived on Saturday, but I ended up picking one up on launch day. I could have waited 1 day for the $50 offer. I ended up selling it for the Target Redcard discount to my daughter's friend.
