Boost rep just told me it has to be the $60 plan for 12 months.
Probably a lie. Mine told me Insurance required first month. So YMMV.

Yeah it's really bad, expect to pay tax on the full MSRP, expect $35 activation fee, they might try to hard sell you on insurance and a case too.
Honestly might be better to buy it online considering how much of a hassle it is.

It might depend on the store. I got the iPhone 15 deal for $200.49 total. Tax was only on the $100 phone.

be careful with those shady boost dealers.
I remember doing a deal several years ago and they started adding extras such as insurance, etc..

same with metro dealers

Likely doing this because Apple made the trade-ins worth more to increase their sales. I got a $150 trade-in for the iPhone 11 to buy my mom's 16e. She is on the $40 total wireless plan.

they wipe your acc if you're inactive, I think the policy was 60 days but idk if I trust that. If you're gonna play games just swap lines to their $15 intro plan after your first month and ride that sim to 12 months instead
$15 first 3 mo., $25 after

So you get this for $49.99 and then trade it in after 12 months? Or trade it in immediately? Who do you trade in with and for what?

Guess in 12 months you can trade it in to Apple or another carrier for the iPhone 17 or the 18 in a couple more months.

I had already looked into getting one of these iPhone 16e's months prior, weighing the pros and cons before eventually settling for the iPhone 13 deal from Total Wireless. However, this deal is not even worth the hassle since it has to stay locked for a period of 12 months and in order to unlock the phone you can't just set it and forget it, you have to keep service active on the phone for that period of time, consecutively. Lastly, Boost Mobile as a service provider is "L' altogether.

$50 to replicate this online but worth it. Online came out to $170~ total but inshore even at $50 for the phone was quoted $270. Bunch of thieves in the boost mobile store don't bother

Does the new $15 line have to be in the same eSIM imei as $60 was activated or it doesn't matter, do you know? Or it supposed to be unlocked in a year with line active on any of eSIM slots
