Out $50 in Dominos and $70 in CPK..I was able to use 2 $25 dominos cards the first year, but the last 2 cards didn't work after like 15-16 mo.
CPK - I had 4 $25 cards that I bought as gifts and by the time the person tried to use them, it had been again over a year and they didn't work. Luckliy, I gifted them to my cousin so she understood and it wasn't too embarrassing.
I feel it's best to use these cards right away. Fwiw, in both instances, cards stopped working after 14-15 months.
Since it had been well past a year, no one seemed to know what was going on with the cards or be of any help. My wife doesn't want to go down the "bluffing" route, but I'll try to convince her. lol
Lesson learned: Use the cards right away..maybe within the first few months.

But also, I wonder if it's worth offering feedback through their site. If they get enough complaints about a particular store, they may eventually act. Or not, but at least you tried.
