i actually love their chips and think they're better than quest lol
my favorite is the quest hot and spicy... had the legendary once, a four pack.. maybe it was just a bad flavor.. i'll have to try them out again

the glazed vanilla came in already.. pretty damn good. Not as sweet as a real doughnut.. but legit a treat.. especially if you aren't use to normal doughnuts

What happened with Lenny & Larry? Not as much protein as they advertise?

Edit: Anyone have a favorite flavor from these 3 options? Crumbly cinnamon sounds good...

Yes, L&L were sued over protein claims and misleading labeling. They claimed 16g protein per cookie but when tested an individual cookie may only have had between 4 and 9 grams of protein. They also allegedly used nitrogen testing to label for protein content, but when you publish a %DV for protein, you have to use the protein's "digestibility score" to determine how much is ACTUALLY usable by the body.

They settled to the tune of $5 million.

I'm glad these exist as an alternative for people, I'm just cautious about believing specific claims without independent 3rd party testing backing it up.

We bought both flavors that were on sale. Some questionable ingredients and some questionable bathroom side effects, but they are so good its worth it. Not an everyday snack, but a nice break for someone who maintains a healthy diet.

Was the diarrhea accompanied by pain and sweat? If I am just going to piss this out me bum, I'll just have a Krispy creme and plant based protein shake.

Agree. Not worth the burning and the churning.

I don't think these are claiming to be "healthy," just (relatively) high in protein. If you want "healthy" protein perhaps develop a taste for edamame...hold the chocolate dipping of course Wink

there's also the same 40% off clip coupon for their Protein Pastry (pop-tart). Some reviews on Amazon state that the pastry is better than the donuts. Anyone here on SD tried both ?

Bunch of seed oil, gums, and erythritol, I'll pass.
You won't die from diabetes, because the erythritol will give you a heart attack first.

According to tiktok reviews they taste exactly like their poptarts and "rolls" justi in a donut shape, so if you like their other pastries youll like this but dont expect any difference in flavor compared to their other pastries

Craving a donut, go eat a good one that hits the spot. Then go back to protein shakes and chicken breasts. Never could get into protein enhanced treats, just tricking yourself into believing their health which other than the added protein, they aren't.

Less than a dollar per donut, that's better than Casey's! I'll note that the "bite" picture used on the package appears to have been created by someone without teeth!

I would probably give these a try over the pop-tarts just because I prefer donuts anyway, but after Lenny & Larry lied to me about protein content, I'm wary about accuracy of these claims on snack replacements.
For the few video reviews I've seen of these donuts, they appear to be similar in texture and taste to their Pop-Tarts, but in a donut shape. So, not a great donut replacement, but a decent protein snack. As far as protein content, these and all Legendary protein snacks use whey protein isolates as their primary protein source, unlike Lenny & Larry',s which use wheat flour and various plant-based protein sources, which are ineffective for muscle protein synthesis.

math is hard.

reading is hard: there are two donuts per package, so 16 donuts for $15
