I have to agree this lavender scent… it's like a tad too strong. I bought this a few years ago and am just slowly working through, unless they have changed the formulation I would not recommend. I have no problem with its soapy properties it's just the scent… it's not my favorite

The FDA does not recognize antibacterial additive soap as being any more effective than regular soap, and studies make the point that antibacterial additives have a ton of downside to the environment and bacterial resistance. Don't use additive based soaps.

if it is, it's a strong reason NOT to buy it, unless, say, you live in a hospital or maybe immune compromised. Anyone with kids or grandkids that would hand soap should definitely be buying that crap!!
