I think the $10 Member digital bonus card when picking up a $30+ order is new, right? Super slick deal, IMO. Limit of 1 per customer [rei.com].

I mean it's not like our country was founded by a bunch of rich people who didn't want to pay taxes so they could buy more stuff, then pass laws to intentionally enable the growth of consumerism....

Wait a minute.

Comments like yours are hilariously ironic. The only reason china is making stuff is because you don't want to pay $60 for a pair of socks that would afford a fair wage in a US factory.

But ya let's blame others for our greed

Thanks! I only need one item ($48) and wasn't finding anything else I needed, so I was thinking to pick-up already. This sealed the deal. I might do some gift card too on top.

Just a friendly caution about the bonus GC. It expires on 7/21/25, so be sure to use it before then.

nothing says "celebrate US Independence Day" like a bunch of Chinese made stuff.

Better to buy from a local store to help them pay off the bank note for all the Chinese steel their building was built with instead

Or

Better to buy from a local store to helm *them* buy a Chinese item instead

These buy local takes are always so dumb

Is that bad? I don't get the connection between a holiday to celebrate the US Independence and mass consumerism. I mean even if it is a summer sale, it would be better in late May early June so you can be ready for summer.

They also are offering a $20 bonus card if you buy $100 in gift cards. Just placed an order on the sale items with my bonus money. Got some Saucony's for me and kids Bogs for 50% off, some house/recovery shoes for 60% off and a kids Yeti for 20% off before the extra discount.

You actually used the term "mass consumerism" on a slickdeals thread. Any reason to jump on a soapbox.
You've come to the wrong shop for anarchy........

Where can I buy everyday items that are not Chinese made?
