I have this.
I find the thermostat to be inaccurate.
It reads a couple of degrees lower than actual.

So if I set heat to 72f, it'll sense 70f and won't actually shut off till actual temp is 74f.

So I set it to 70f so it'll shut off when actual temp is 72f.

I'm using a meat thermometer to compare temps.
My old thermostat was consistent with it but it stopped working

Begs the question: Did you look to see if there is an offset setting?

Calibrating the thermostat (Temperature Offset):

Some Honeywell digital thermostats, including some models in the 6000 series (like the RTH6360D), may offer a way to adjust the displayed temperature by a small offset if the measured temperature is inaccurate due to its location.

To calibrate:
  • Find a reliable thermometer and compare its reading to the thermostat's displayed temperature.
  • Access the menu, go to "Preferences" or "Advanced Preferences".
  • Look for an option like "Indoor display offsets".
  • Adjust the displayed temperature to match the thermometer's reading using the arrow buttons, then press "Done".

Yea same here. Any ideas? Was thinking of an Amazon smart thermostat on eBay for 18 bucks. Amazon Smart Thermostat Model S6ED3R with Honeywell Home Tech, Needs C-WIRE -NEW. Need to spend some more time searching.
