You are paying mostly for salt. Don't do it. Better to buy real Cajun seasoning and just use salt separately.

So where is this "real Cajun seasoning" that's going to have significantly less salt? From what I'm seeing they have about the same sodium per tsp.

Just read labels. There are many. Avoid ones that have salt as the first ingredient. Good ones usually list garlic, spices, and then salt as a third ingredient or later in the list. Huge difference in taste/flavor when you cook. If you are into cooking, it's actually not that hard to make your own mix either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RB12jxxCL0
