wow this is a good deal

it is even cheaper than Costco which has the same 258V 4070 config on "sale" after 300$ bringing it "down" from $1599 to 1299$

No. That screen is horrible. Lunar Lake is slow AS fark. 4050 itself is not a good card with 6gb as well. If you need any graphics performance go with the omen. If not go with the omnibook x flip 16 with oled touch for $899.

I'm not sure who this configuration is intended for. A 17-inch laptop is essentially a desktop replacement, usually stationary and plugged in. So why opt for a low-power V-series chip instead of a higher-performance H-series processor?

No, it's not worth it. The 4050 is fine for many games and folks but $1100 for anything with a 4050 is a tough sell.
