In Consumer Reports recent tests on cast iron frying pans, the USA made Lodge beat out the Colombian made Victoria. The scores were close 77 to 74, respectively — but the Lodge also received CR Recommended and CR Smart Buy accolades.
I like both but Victoria are slightly lighter and I think the preseasoning is smoother and better as well. Also the handles are longer on the Victoria.
That being said, a 6" is nearly useless. An 8" is only good for one grilled cheese sandwich or half of a pack of breakfast links to put it into perspective.
