Thanks for sharing this, i had delivery scheduled for the $1399 deal from few days ago (from BBY as well) but cancelled it to get it for $1299. Meanwhile, Samsung has still not picked up the broken QN90D they delivered to my house making sure that i will never buy a TV from their site again.

I was not planning to wall mount anyways but the two benefits were that they would unpack and mount the TV on the stand before taking away my old working QN90A. And they lifted it onto the stand so I did not have the risk of breaking the TV. If the TV was damaged in unpacking, they would have taken it away and left my old TV.

This is a 2023 model....I was thinking this would be at least a 2024. And the website does not list it as mini-LED.

I am considering this TV to upgrade from my 65". What makes this 2023 model inferior from 2024 or current 2025?

Hard to pass up the 5 year warranty from Costco but Looks like this tv is slightly better than sony x90l ( on Rtings)for 1400 with a 5 year warranty.

QN90C 2023 and QN90D 2024 are both mini LED with the exact same number of dimming zones and very little difference between them. Even the QN90A from 2021 is a mini LED TV.

Don't go by just numbers on RTings, QN90C will get much brighter and have a higher contrast ratio with local dimming enabled than the X90L. QN90C also has 720 dimming zones vs 88 on X90L for the 65" model RTings tested which will make a good difference in getting HDR content to pop.

Awesome deal. I still use the 85" QN90A I got for $2k and it has been great. TV, movies, gaming, sports. It all works well.

I've had the QN90A for a few years and honestly am not huge a fan. Do you not have any weird problems with flashing or overshoot on faces when playing content from external media players? The reflection handling is also really annoying if the light sources are to the side of the TV. Mine gets a big rainbow band going across the screen if the light is bright enough.

Everyone do yourself a favor and get a warranty from anyone other than Assurant. Not sure how Samsung handles the warranty but my 85 QN90D grew lines on the screen and I've been fighting them for months trying to get a refund.
