This is the 2025 model for anyone interested. Reviews seem great except that it has TCL picture processing which is still unproven compared to Sony, Samsung and LG.

Chinese TV brands have absurdly high initial MSRPs to encourage you to clear out Last Year models instead during spring/summer, wait until Black Friday for the real price to drop another 50%.

agreed 💯. holding out for the 98" at this price around Black Friday, matching the previous generation 98 QM8 low. The 85 inch QM8 was just $1500 at Best Buy this past weekend, now back to $1700, but still a much better deal than this. It will be $1500 again before it sells out most likely.
