This is a good deal. Two available at my local MC for this price. I am also confused by the downvotes.

Trolls, as usual.
Almost all my deals get downvoted within seconds of me posting but they still can't stop them from becoming popular or frontpage, lol.

In Fairfax, VA, they are out of stock for New Units, but they have an Open Box Unit available for $899.

I like the Asus zen/vivo laptops, I have a zen, it's 5 years old but has a gpu that still kicks the ass off any integrated to this day.... sadly locked at 8gb ram, soldered. This one doesn't have touchscreen, and only integrated GPU for 850. Otherwise specs are ok. Even if you don't care about gpu this feels high.

I got the i5 version and even though hardware is good, the software and driver experience is horrendous. Wifi often fails to connect. I've to uninstall drivers and go back to old version. After opening the lid, wake up is inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Once it starts, it works fine. Overall it has been a very annoying experience. And I wouldn't buy an Asus laptop again. I've owned Lenovo, Dell, and HP in the past. Lenovo > Dell/HP > Asus would be my rating per my experience.

I got this when it was on sale several months ago at Walmart and I love this laptop. No complaints here and would buy it again if I needed another one.

Have you experienced any of the issues the above user had?

Microcenter's return policy is terrible—only 15 days from the date of purchase! Also, their laptop deals are limited to just a few models. Most of the time it is out of stock.
