So if I buy it to stuff with just 22l of stuff, would it be a good buy?
The Ozark trail hydration pack in the 14 L size will cost around $30 but it's actually very reasonable for such a useful backpack. Remove the hydration pouch and set it aside if you're not looking for that feature. I recently went on eBay to purchase an older model of one of these backpacks because the one we have has been used so much (school field trips, a two-week trip to Asia, many bike rides, etc.) that, while it is still intact and has no tears or damage, is getting rather soft and floppy. The two adults and two teens in my family got accustomed to reaching for this humble backpack on a regular basis over the past 5 years. I felt like treating myself to a new onei and found one, new with tags, on eBay.
Did a little shopping on Amazon I could not really find anything comparable for the price.
You can look at Walmart . com for the current version of this hydration backpack.
Edit: models to look for are Larimore or Finley Creek. Both show as completely out of stock on Walmart.com , but you can check back later or check eBay. Also, be aware that there are hydration packs with 1.5 L water pouch that have a smaller backpack but that would be a very small pack, I think.
