Most security lights are mounted out of reach. The outlets being so high would seem to make them impractical.

Great to get accessible outlets near security cameras without surface mounting/routing new wires.

Security lights are not typically mounted high up. They're typically mounted within's arm reach where someone would put right next to the door. Sometimes its above a door frame. If it was a security camera attached then yes, people tend to put those out of arms reach.
These specific unit would not want to mount to high since the outlet does not have in-use cover; therefore, what is plugged in will need to be removed after use.

The first user review talks about how nice it is to be able to plug in appliances. Definitely, I'm planning to plug in my air fryer to my security motion light.

I've seen folks using high outlets like this for plugging in Christmas decorations or other lighting solutions. Probably wouldn't be a bad spot to plug in a Kasa/Deco camera if you're in an area that doesn't get enough solar or want continuous recording.

Edit: Promo code says it's expired, anyway, lol.
