Shouldn't be, there is very little difference between OLED displays currently available for mainstream laptops (and very few manufacturers LG and Samsung, so there is a good chance the ASUS one is also Samsung display). The Asus is actually slightly higher res so it is not the same panel but I'd say you would be pressed to tell the difference between the two.
I have the book2 (13") and book4 (14") and the book4 is heavier but its also a lot larger mostly due to the change in aspect ratio. the screen is taller so the keyboard palmrest area got larger. thats probably were some of the weight gain came.
Also the aluminum/magnesium on the book4 feels a lot better than the book2. my book2 gets dented really easily (probably due to the sharp edges)

With that said, the Panels have gotten slightly worse from my GB3 Ultra -> GB4 Edge -> GB5 Pro. The GB3 Ultra was not a touch screen and had a more reflective screen than the GB4E and GB5P, but it has the best image quality of the three, with the best peak HDR highlights. Probably due to the lack of a touchscreen layer and anti-reflectivity coating. The GB4E and GB5Pro panels are pretty much the same, but my GB5Pro has a couple areas where the anti-reflectivity coating shows up as hazy in bright rooms. It's most noticeable when the screen is off or there is a black background. All of the Samsung screens I've had since the GB3U have been excellent though, all things considered.
One thing anyone considering this deal should be aware of is that Samsung is now charging a 5% restocking fee for their laptops. You can probably try to get them to wave it, but each of the support reps that I chatted with (both of which seemed like AI, tbh) eventually gave me the option of keeping the laptop and receiving a 10% refund (less tax) or returning it for a 5% restocking fee.
