I ordered some a week or two ago and they didn't explode when I opened them, but half of the cans were damaged (bulging) and all of them tasted a little flat compared to buying in the store. I have to assume this is the result of the shipping process. I won't buy them from Amazon again but that might not be a deal breaker for others if it's on sale.

Maybe not for you but for many it is. Not all regions have soda at the same pricing, free delivery is another price factor or perk, depending on personal shopping options
I'm in SoCal, and the best deal right now is B2G2 at Vons (Albertsons/Safeway), and because they've raised the shelf price to $10.99 per 12-pack, this "deal" comes to $5.50 per.
Sad state of affairs.

I just ran the deal ordering 5 with a coupon, and it gave me $14.45 off - $2.89 for each 12-pack.
