Also, a post on Reddit that I saw was saying that the 5510 and the 5520 are essentially the same unit and that only the front grill has changed. Based on the Winix Facebook page, it states, "The 5510 and 5520 are the same in terms of performance and features—the only difference is their design. So, the choice between the two really comes down to your personal style preference."

I have C545 and my AIrthings keeps warning me about high CO2. I have two plants in the office, so I always thought they should help clean the air in addtition to Winix but can't get rid of CO2, but I am wondering if that's due to plasma generation on these air purifiers?
Is it the little "P" icon? I can turn that off in mine, how about these like 5510?
Honestly this 5510 looks identical to my C545 which used to go on sale many times at Costco. I think only difference is the carbon filter vs carbon mesh, interior seems same?
I just don't want to pay more for minimal performance increase due to different filter.
I also want to buy at least 3 for different rooms to run 24/7 . Slow speed when we are not home, faster speed when we are home and slow again at night.

Costco has C909 is it any better? https://www.costco.com/ProductDis...=100842491 I don't see it on that website, is this supposed to be same as different model #? not sure if you already know but another advantage of the carbon pellet filters of 5510 is that they're washable which would extend their lifespan so it's not just a performance increase but also the filter lifespan and maintenance cost.
another thing to consider is how loud the two units are compared to each other. from what i heard, the 5510 and 5520 are both noticeably louder than the older version 5500-2. since c545 covers more square footage compared to the 55xx units, you may be able to use a lower setting for it to get a much quieter experience for similar performance.
yeah, one of the reasons i opted for the non wifi, remoteless AM80 instead. the 5500-2 filters are just so cheap to pass up.
I also have the 5510. I went ahead and purchased the replacement filters at the Winix website. They are significantly more expensive. I do like the 5510 for its wifi functionality.

Thank you for confirming my assumption, the website you linked is also confirming the C545 that I have reaches 0 PM in air in a shorter time, but at louder setting however I can barely hear it at low setting in my office literally next to my ear. I just hope and wish I could get the other carbon filter for this.I also should mention, I have 2nd purifier next my kitty litter box, it's a much older Sharp brand FP F60U-W, and it does wonders keeping litter dust at bay. I am also looking for filters for this but I think they don't make them.
for normal house usage, this is good, but for geek, it won't tell you the value of pm2.5. also it has no child lock, so if you has a child, consider about it...
You can disassemble quick following youtube videos and unplug the ozone generator so that you are not bothered switching it off everytime and don't care about plasmawave button. Did to two of mine in 45-60 minutes and never looked back.
