Yeah and I keep postponing my purchase for better deal. I don't "need 'one but if prices were stable and predictable with only occasional sale and no model number spamming I would have bought one by now

Avoid bluetti unless you like expensive bricks in the near future (speaking from experience).

Non existing customer service.

I've had the opposite experience with Bluetti. I own two units and my friend owns three. All five units have been great so far. Oldest is three years old.

...And I bought quite a few of each! Ugh. Need power stations in my house for my daily use of medical equipment. But it's making me broke!

Absolutely not the case. I have nearly 7kwh of battery backup from Bluetti and they work fantastic. The one issue I had was resolved extremely quickly by their customer service and I had a new unit within two weeks. They even responded to my customer service inquiry / suggestion within 24 hours and followed up two days later.

Good customer service is an exception with them, compared to other major brands. Bluetti does not have a reputation for being customer centric.

Not in my case. I've had several lines of communication open with them at different times and they've always been responsive. The products that I have also seem to just work. Works well enough for me that I just invested in the Apex 300 with expansion battery combo.

This is about half the price I paid for Bluetti's previous model with the same performance a couple of years ago.
