Heinz No Salt tastes better than most no-so products because it replaces sodium chloride (NaCl) with potassium chloride (KCl), a salt compound that has a milder salt taste -- instead of 160 mg of sodium per T, you get 180 mg of potassium & depending on how many spoonfuls go on your burgers, fries, bbqs, etc., that adds up. A lot of people add KCl to electrolyte drinks because it's an essential mineral that we don't get enough of, so if you're curious to try this, it's $2-$3 less than in NYC supermarkets.
