These are garbage batteries. Replaced to my door lock multiple times and it still said low batteries. I changed to name brand or even the yellow Amazon basic battery my door lock got no issue. That why these batteries is so cheap it is just a shell without power. lol

Someone attacked me a few months ago when I mentioned a time when I bought batteries at $0.10 each (20 years ago), and it spoiled me for all future deals. They basically said I was an idiot Hope they see this thread. BTW I also have Energizer industrial batteries from 20 years ago that still have good charge with no leaking, which blows my mind.

Edit: AA 300 pack [amazon.com] is about $45 after S&S

Amazon basics batteries that I bought previously had a 10 year shelf life. These are listed as having a 5 year shelf life. Is that why these are so cheap? Or will they last about the same length of time?

In this case yes, I've never seen Alkalines go flat so fast, the regular basics or whatever is better.

Not high quality, they tend to leak and damage electronic devices.

Parents understand that putting premium batteries in a toy car that will quickly drive itself under the bed, while continuing to spin it's tired until dead....isn't cost effective. That's what these are for. Also....battery powered squirt guns, kids flash lights, walkie talkies....and anything else that gets left on and forgotten.

You don't understand, some of these come dead drained from the box, it's not cheap,.its garbage.

We've all used stuff like ac Delco in the past and those are fine, this was the first pack where I wouldn't be sure if they would work at all
