found on clearance at my local store, was the last one, unopened. no idea why it was marked down but normally 139.00 USD, was locked up.

That's insane. I bought this impact driver by itself from Lowes as a demo model w/out a battery. They wanted $90, I offered $40, and they took it. Now I try to hit up all of my local Lowes for open items and in store clearance tools. On Sunday, I hit up 4 lowes and found nothing, except for about 12 sq ft of 1" scrap subfloor grade plywood marked down 80%. Already cut off the tongue and grooves using my 6.5" Metabo Circular Saw that I scored from ToolNut for like $40.00. That plywood will be perfect for a workbench.

Looks like all 18v MAY be going clearance because their website shows hand drills pushing 36v setups now, nice

I had hitachi, it changed to metabo, now all the lowes around me don't even stock metabo in their stores. The 2.0 ah battery is kind of pathetic for the amount of time it runs, although it has no problems driving 8/9/10 (thickness of screw) screws into decks with the impact. the 3ah battery is a lot better (lol, at least 1ah better Smilie).
