Curious why its a deal breaker when its not a gaming laptop. Does it make it a difference looking at documents, browsing the web, watching youtube etc.

16GB built in and a 16GB stick. Anyone know what the maximum size stick is that can be added? 32GB is plenty for most and truthfully enough for me. I do run a few programs that could take advantage of additional RAM though.

Ugh so close. Checks off almost every box, but having a 120hz screen. If it isn't listed, I am strongly assuming it is a 60hz screen.

It is listed 60hz. Been looking for a internet/web PC for a while under $600. Tempting though 30 minute drive on a beautiful day… boat or shiny object.

I think Asus is pretty flexible in this area. I have a Creator laptop with 8GB soldered and I added 32gb to the other slot for 40gb total and it works great.

Mainly because though it is not a "dedicated gaming laptop" as in playing AAA games, there are games this will run fine that benefits from 120hz. 120hz also generally provides a smoother experience especially on things like scrolling. It isn't a purely gaming thing.
That being said, I'm likely in the small minority here though. This will likely be fine for 99% of the people who aren't gaming.

I would prefer a 60hz screen. Lower power usage. Its not a gaming laptop. I'm more worried about max nits and color gamut. I can lower brightness but if I want to work outside in the fresh air, a bit harder. Amazing how few laptops offer better than 300. I can't find a single non flip dell with over 300.....even if you look to upgrade.

Micro Center laptop reviews are always an adventure...

"Perfect tv for the money
Tv has a great picture, but the remote to input passwords is so so so so slowwwwww! Use QR codes for apps. That's expected for the price. But once ur past that the tv works great!"

Yep, all very fair points for this type of laptop. I am definitely in the smaller minority of wanting a 120hz screen and for most purposes, the quality of the screen with brightness and color will far outweigh it being 120hz.

I just bought the Acer from Costco $499 with Ultra 5. This is better in terms of performance or the Acer? Need it for work and will use it with lid closed at all times.

Great performing laptop. Bought and returned last month because the USB-C does not support display output. That was a deal breaker for me. If it's not for you, snap it up.
