What's wrong with Panasonic? Most of what I see from them is quite good, from batteries to laptops.

IF someone has strange things happen.... Like the Volume going up/down on it's own.
Take the Batteries out of the remote...... and see if it still does it.
I realize moctezumax most likely had the OEM Panny TV remote.
I purchased a "FireTV" remote for my W95..... and when the TV was off, in 7-minutes the remote would send a ghost ON signal. The Tv would Turn on by itself. Tried reprogramming the new FireTV remote and it kept doing the same. Everything else worked with the new remote.
The OEM Panasonic works perfect.
The other thing is I have a Tivo, hooked up to a Yamaha A/V receiver.... and sometimes when I would turn the TV on or off I had strange things happen with the HDMI "handshake" I looked in the Tivo menu to see its remote battery, and it was only 36%..... Changed the batteries in the Tivo remote, and so far haven't had any problems.

OK.... This is a now UNBEATABLE Deal

I have the Costco 65" Panny W95 $500 deal...... that I received a few weeks ago, and the TV is GREAT

But to be honest.... I would really like a 55" one as it will fit better in my TV location.

Ha same boat as me. I needed a 50 or 55" for the bedroom but Costcos deal for the 65" was better than other 50-55" TVs.

Still, that $500 deal is better in my eyes. I regret hesitating too long. I have a 1080p Vizio that gets the job done, but I was debating between Mini LED and OLED and then deal was gone. $100 more for 10" and better warranty is worth it. Hopefully the 65" fits your space, but you definitely got a better deal outside of that.

Had to return mine. The volume randomly would go up and down.

I just went through a TV purchase and the one theme I kept seeing in the comments was the Fire/Amazon ecosystem was more trouble than it was worth. I ended up buying something with Google built in instead. Great interface that is on par with Roku and Apple TV.
The specs here look good otherwise.
