I wonder how the USB power draw is. It says 2.6 watts. I assume max?Hoping to cool some network equipment behind the TV this Summer and for it to be low noise at it's lowest setting.Other side looks like USB-A according to this video review.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVUro5Uluf0
Seems like the one problem with this (and many other fans like it) is the electronic switch that's needed to turn it on when it gets USB power. You can probably bypass that with a little electronics knowledge, though.
I think I'm in for 2 packs - 4 total, hoping to use one or two for hardware cooling purposes too, that axial fan design is definitely geared toward slimmer enclosures.
USB-A, I can't figure out if the other side of the cord that plugs into the fan is removable or not, the pictures are useless.
I really wanted to like this.
They are not. I've already received a pair.
I wasn't expecting huge airflow for $8 and I also have a weird love of this type of blower so I'm happy with them. Fun form factor since you can stand them vertically or horizontally (remove one leg and clip to other end depending on orientation).
Don't expect it to cool you after mowing the lawn but you can feel a decent breeze from a couple feet on high. There is a bit of whine like a full size tower fan on high. Low is fairly quiet. Tempted to try upping the voltage to see what happens lol
Does anyone who has this know if you can control this with a smart power switch?
Looking for something that turns right back on if power is applied without having to press any buttons.

That guy is going to be wondering why all of a sudden that video is his most popular.

Processing can be slow sometimes but their customer service is great.
