Who knows what horrors these laptops have seen, both on screen and though Webcam. I would recommend swapping the hard drive in case it still has traces of whatever this laptop was used for.

I bought this in April. Like new condition. Couldn't even tell it was used.Checked the sdd info and saw that it had 8 hours of total runtime (including the refurbishing process). So mine was definitely just a return. They sell this at Costco so you can check it out in person. Also several reviews out there on this laptop.Oh also mine still had 9 months of factory warranty left on it. But I guess I'm double covered right now.

Is yours the same model with H series processor or a Aura edition? All reviews say Aura edition is better with Ultra series 2 processors, although with less power but considerably longer battery life.

i dont trust this CPU in this thin chassis because this CPU gets really hot.

it will easily reach 100C just light web browsing

i didnt test in this specific laptop but a different "slim" laptop with this CPU

I am trying to buy a laptop for my daughter who is starting college in a couple of months.
Most important factors, touch screen, 2 in 1 preferred, light weight and most of all really good battery life.
So how is the battery life, with normal usage would you get around 10 hours of battery?

I bought two refurbished Lenovo laptops from eBay. Both got issues. One outside warranty one repaired under warranty. Quality sucks

For college - I highly recommend more than a touchscreen - a laptop that also has support for a stylus for note-taking. I don't know if this one supports a stylus, but even if it does, it isn't ideal because you can't fold the screen backwards (like the Lenovo Yoga line) - so it would be hard taking notes in class because your wrist/hands has to float above the keyboard leaving you with lots of hand fatigue. I think the Microsoft Surface PC tablets would make your daughter very happy.
