This is a Korean MMO. For those who don't know gaming, stating that it is a Korean MMO allows the average gamer to know that it is going to be super grindy with tons of RNG near the end game. If you are into skins for characters, they have lots of various maid outfits and sexy whatever outfits for those who play female characters. I haven't played in several years but even then they had allowed some AFK (away from keyboard for console types) grinding, so maybe they improved it more.

The game uses gear for progression to get stronger, and it has a punishing luck-based refinement system. The higher that you refine a piece, the greater chance that refinement will fail. If the refinement fails, the piece of gear degrades (loses refinement), and you need to buy items in the shop to restore it and start over. The higher level gear makes a large difference which is p2w, especially in pvp. Also, classes are very imbalanced.

However the game is free, and you can honestly have fun for at least a few dozen hours in the early game, just exploring and fighting in the open world before any of this is a problem. If you like grindy games, you might really like this casually.

Korean MMOs were the shit back in 2007/2008 era. NCSoft etc.. So many free to play games were coming out. Even China took notice and started cranking out their own. Met so many people from Asia on group chat back then teaming up and playing games.

This game is fun, just wish there was fast travel. The map is massive, like really massive even by MMO standards. It's got all the typical issues these games have. But the combat is so farking slick. It's action RPG style with lots of flash and pop to keep you entertained.

Looks like a mobile-device remake of the old Dynasty Warriors 2 game on PS2. If they're anything alike, entertainment factor will putter out pretty quickly if you're over 20 years old and can recognize the underlying mechanics..

game is a full time job, players i knew from the few months i played spent hundreds a month to keep up (i was never able to do pvp and whatnot not enough gear)

Grindy Korean MMO but there is a ton of content. Most of which can be played without spending a dime in real world money. It has AFK mechanics so there's numerous things you can do while at work and it minimizes to the tray to not use up any resources.
