I'm writing with the very flashlight in my hand. Mine shipped w a 3.7v 3.4wh 14500 battery that has a usb-c port on the side of the cylinder near the positive terminal. I have a lot of AA and AAA flashlights. This one lives in the bag that I drag with me to work and everywhere else. It cycles from low to medium to high, which is the sequence prefer. The low is just a bit more than a moonlight setting. It does respond to partial depressions of the tail switch, but it's a little stiff. It remembers last setting.

At about the same time, I also bought the now discontinued hcri olight i5t w rechargeable battery. They are extremely similar. The olight has only two settings, a low that cannot be mistaken for moonlight. The olight had a smoother switch at first but after two years, it became glitchy. The cast of the two lights are very similar but I think acebeam has the edge in pleasant color representation. Just barely tho and it might be my copies. The olight has threads that glide, but the acebeam's are also smooth and possibly a little more snug. The two way clip is sturdier on the acebeam. After a lot of use, It is still a little harder to clip onto things. The olight clip slips on and off more easily but I've definitely bent a couple olight clips and that light falls out of pocket more often. I tend to get more hours out of the acebeam between charges.

It's relatively simple light, but it has the features that are important to me: Small, hcri, reasonable runtime, can take a AA if needed, very usable low and medium settings.

This is an excellent price.

Not my review, but I trust Zeroair's experience.

From the pictures looks like it's a AA battery powered flashlight that comes with a USB rechargable (Li-ion) battery. No built-in USB-C Charging. You'll have to take out the battery and charge it with a USB-C cable.

You have to take out the battery for charging. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it. Otherwise, it is a nice little flashlight for the money.

Got the flashlight. It came with 2 rubber washers. What do I use the washers for?

Mine just arrived. It feels very solid and everything works well. It is fantastically bright on the highest setting.

Those a xtra replacement orings for the one located at the base of where the cap threads in. Most flashlight manufacturers included these. You'll likely never need them. Put them in the junk drawer (with all of the others) for a rainy day.

I had an Acebeam flashlight. I dropped it once, from like 2 feet on to a hard surface. It stopped working.
I will never buy another Acebeam product.
