Was a breath of fresh air after dealing with the crap they put out with 8. IX is an awesome game that should be mentioned among the greats of VII and X

The 25th anniversary is on Monday (July 7th) so there's a ton of speculation about a remake or bigger remaster

My favorite Final Fantasy game. I might have to get it at this price for my Switch. I haven't played it in a while. And, this one apparently has some quality of life improvements. Like you can speed up battles and turn off random encounters.

7 isn't bad imo but I definitely get it. My cousin calls me crazy for preferring 8 over 7 lol. I'd say my top 5 are 6 > 9 > 10 > 8 > 4

I heard that the Switch port has horrendously long battle loading times. Like several tens of seconds up to a minute. Can someone comment on this?

I love ff9 but avoid playing it on switch the load times are really really bad

Just look up ff9 loading time comparison on youtube. The switch times are really bad
