It should be fine. I have this one in a Samsung tablet. Been working great for movies, roms, and audio books.

Just a heads‑up for the Switch 2 owners: that's a MicroSDXC card, which won't work for the Switch 2. The new model uses an EX (Express) card instead — different standard, faster interface, and not backward‑compatible.

Really tempted, but kind of want to wait for a Samsung or SanDisk deal again.

I purchased the same brand six months ago—it was a 512GB model. Although the company honored the warranty, they required me to cover the shipping costs. When the card failed, all data remained accessible but couldn't be deleted. Due to concerns about my personal information, I chose not to send it in and accepted the loss. This was the first time I experienced a microSD card failure; it only lasted two months before becoming unusable.

Same exact problem with my 256gb but it lasted only a week. No app could erase or format. I decided not to RMA. Also it's wrong to cover shipping because their problem is not customer's problem. I won't touch this brand again.

I used one on my Steam Deck for about a year. It started seeing updates hang recently so I chose to replace it with a 1TB Samsung EVO Select that was on sale for $60.

I had this happen to me before, I forgot which company. I told them my concerns about the data as well and they said it's fine to cut it up before sending it back to them for a replacement.
