Check Facebook marketplace for local meet ups, I found a few Samsung 990 pro 4tbs brand new for $200-$210. Still better than paying $230+ on a new one

What am I missing? I don't get why anyone thinks Crucial SSDs are a good deal. They consistently have some of the lowest TBW numbers across the industry but they are not priced to reflect that.

Amazon resale has the Samsung 990 Pro - with or without a heatsink - for $183, after 30% off Prime day deal, for "used like new", which is basically a customer return. That's a way better deal for a way better drive.

I love Crucial's stuff, and have their DRAM and SSDs in a few of our PCs. But- good grief, never have I seen such a low endurance number! This might be good for long-term storage (if it doesn't fail), but I'd never consider this as a main drive.
