Great controller. Especially for the price. Back buttons are probably the best out of all the controllers I've used.

I got one last time, solid controller, thought I don't like the L1 R1 buttons on top, for 25 bucks it's solid imo.

No and yes. This is wired. But it has better accuracy after customization. And has back buttons. Plus usually cost way less. Plus has grippy material which the original Xbox controller doesn't. But the turtle beach do break faster than the original

How long does it take(how much use)? People say the OEM's get it bad too, but I have two I've had for 5 years that don't have it in any games I play, and one is cracked to shit.

Very best back paddle implementation. Have the cloud version that has Bluetooth support, from Ross for same price before. I recommend this for Halo, Cod, etc.

Gotta get one with hall effects. It's happened to me so often. Annoying that the 8bitdo ones only work wired for whatever reason.

I've only tried one controller with Hall Effect and didn't like it, just didn't have the consistency and smoothness of alps sticks. I'd take replacing the controller every some months over significantly reduced control. I guess it depends on how the controller/board manufacturer decides to implements it too, but I think the tension on the stick plays a big part.

TMR thumbsticks will be better than HE, so maybe look in to a controller with those. It's all I'll put in the controllers I repair/upgrade now

Are those immune to drift?

When I tried this one (black), it developed stick drift within 2-3 months of consistent use. Wouldn't bother with it again.
