If I'm not wrong if you need at least 3, buying this is cheaper even if you already have the hub.

I'm a big fan of the YoLink devices. I already have 4 of the leak sensors so this isn't for me, but I recommend them to anybody that asks. I also have the temperature & humidity sensors in my refrigerator and garage freezer. I was dubious that the signal would travel through the metal body of the fridge/freezer, but it does. Good stuff.

Yes, especially if you don't have an existing ecosystem or if you use Home Assistant as your hub since these can integrate with it via connecting your account. For the price and ease of use, I would have never used smartthings if Yolink was a thing back then.

I got a SmartThings station for free from the person who sold me their S24. It's convenient having a hub and wireless charger in one- does yolink work with this station? Apparently my SmartThings station is compatible with Zigbee and Matter, too. Honestly just have too many "hubs" now lol

No, YoLink devices do not directly integrate with SmartThings. However, you can use IFTTT as a bridge to connect YoLink sensors with the SmartThings app for basic functionality. YoLink is planning to support Matter, which could enable broader compatibility with SmartThings in the future. And I hear you on "too many hubs" lol

This deal is ridiculously good, I probably spent 3 times that amount buying the hub and sensors separately. I originally purchased the YoLink hub and one water sensor, after we had a sump pump fail during a middle of the night storm. By the time we realized what happened, we already had flood damage. The YoLink system has saved us more than once. Besides the area of the sump pump, we have these sensors under our washer, refrigerator and sinks. I love the peace of mind it gives me.

I was planning to buy more YoLink stuff until I had a smart outlet fail within the warranty and it is crickets from their "support". Can't see myself spending more money on their stuff if they don't honor a warranty.

The nice thing about these is they can be teamed up with the bulldog whole house water shutoff, which doesn't require a plumber to install.

There's a way you can link each water sensor with the bulldog whole house water shutoff so it works WITHOUT power or WiFi. That's huge for scenarios like Texas had a few years back. Winter storms damage electrical grid or lines. No electricity, no heat means pipes freeze and burst. This can happen when you are away. These are battery powered as is the bulldog ( at least as backup) and will shut off your whole house water and save you a ton of grief.

Just to confirm. If I'm remote and an alarm triggers , I'll be notified via an app in my phone?
