In experience, Malwarebytes Anti-malware is not an antivirus. It catches malicious websites, potentially unwanted programs, riskware, etc. It is a nice compliment to Windows Defender and catches issues Defender does not. It also does not conflict with Defender.

The NordVPN deals are luke warm. About as good as you'll see until BF and well worth it for $20-25.

Does anyone actually still buy antivirus? There hasn't been much differentiation since like 2012 between free and paid antivirus. Windows Defender is actually excellent and will catch 99%+ of intrusions. Resource usage is on the lower end of the spectrum vs competitors as well.

My NordVPN is expiring soon and they just emailed me an offer for $70 for 2 years so $35 a year. I'll think I'll hold out. Or just get this if it stacks. Is there a code I enter too get it too stack and will it add on too my current subscription Also does Malwarebits stack. Usually it won't.

This is an excellent deal. Really like Malwarebytes. Just overpaid for a renewal, direct. Would have grabbed this one.

I actually use the Malwarebytes not for antivirus like you said Defender is fine but for ransomware protection. Hasn't slowed my PC's down a bit and for $4 a machine it's pretty reasonable.

This isn't a standalone Antivirus program.
This is an anti-malware program that compliments Windows Defender, or pretty much any stand alone antivirus and uses low resources.

I was about to ask if anyone has been able to move their lifetime subscription to a new machine. Mine outdated on an old one over a year ago and just haven't tried to move it yet. I read on here years ago that Malwarebytes was giving people a hard time (wanting them to buy a yearly one instead or tricking them into doing something wrong on the transfer and thus making it void out).

In the same boat, but I have a question for you fellow Lifetime users. I have the Lifetime malwarebytes sub running on an two old laptops (now nearing 8 and 10 years old). How can I safely install it on a new laptop, removing/transferring a license from an old laptop, while not losing the Lifetime benefit?

I had to transfer my 2 lifetime license to an online account. I successfully retain both license

edit: it wasn't straight forward, iirc, the code format is different but searching around from Malwarebytes forum lead me to successfully converted my 2 lifetime to a single Malwarebytes account. it's not ideal but I tried everything else prior. hope that helps

Do you remember the steps or where did you get the info?

If you're asking about the difference between NordVPN Basic and NordVPN PLus, there's a comparison table on their website that indicates the Plus tier includes Threat Protection Pro and a password manager:
