Awesome book, just an obligatory warning that it ends before BotW, so you're not getting any Switch content here. But it's pretty amazing nonetheless.

Quote from WittyPanther722 :
How is this different than hyrule historian

Hyrule Historia is a much more authentic book. It was created with the Zelda team's touch and is entirely canonical. The Zelda Encyclopedia, despite sounding like it would be a more scholarly reference, is a mixture of canon, speculation (fanfic/fan theory-esque) and sometimes, contradictions.

If you are concerned with authenticity, it is best to stick to the Historia, but if you want it for fun and don't worry about that, there's no harm in it.

I have all of the Zelda hardcover books and I prefer the Historia for this reason, personally, but a child or carefree enthusiast may not worry at all!

I bought this 2 or 3 years ago now on Amazon for $15. My kid still loves pulling it out and checking out all the old game information.
