Some watch-face apps (e.g., WatchMaker Watch Faces) do not update at the same pace as the software of these watches, as the apps must redo their watchface libraries due to the limitations of the new software. If you have a favorite watch face, ensure it is compatible with the current software of this watch. Unfortunately, Samsung will push their updates on your watch whether or not you elect to update. You can, of course, elect not to install them, but the watch will keep the update notification forever until you install it. Sometimes, Samsung seems oblivious to the needs of their users.

My Fossil watch started to die, heard the new samsung classic was coming. saw the price, big ol NOPE. then came across this deal on google, ordered the last one last night for 7am delivery, canceled.. all hope was lost. Got to work this morning, checked out of curiosity, and since my shop is in a different zip code.. ONE left, if i order within 11 minutes it'll be delivered today... but what if they try to deliver after my shop closes.... worth the risk... low and behold, 4pm, Paola walks in and delvers my new watch. Is it the 47mm? no... but for $100 i can't complain. and if i dont like it, wife can have it.

don't give up.

This might sound dumb. I've never used a smartwatch. I don't plan on using the fitness tracking or health-monitoring features. I placed an order for one of these, but also comparing the Galaxy Watches to the white-label watches on Amazon. For example, this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F7RN1J7Q) has a larger battery than the 43mm, a larger screen, a rotating crown (similar to rotating bezel), and built-in dual-band GPS, and it costs less. There are a bunch of others, of course - some cheaper than that.

What advantage does the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic have over the random budget smartwatches? Thanks.

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic doesn't have any advantages other than an ECG, but only if you own a Samsung smartphone to pair it with. Other than that, it's all branding. I have the Galaxy Watch 6, and it's been an awful experience to be locked out of features just because I don't own a Samsung smartphone. You won't go through that experience by going with any other random budget smartwatch. Also, Samsung has been notorious for not supporting smartwatches after a few years have passed. Take it from me, I had a Samsung Gear S3 which became nothing but a paperweight only after 2 years of use. But to be fair, I did buy the watch very late in its cycle.

Sold and shipped by NEXCOMMERCE LLC, who probably bought all $99 ones and now is reselling them at $225.

The 6 has a trade in value of $175 towards the 8 from samsung. Could get the 8 for $220 (99 for the 6 then $120 for the 8 with tradein) vs $350 with the trade in and credits.

What's the 8 do better for the price jump? I have 2 of the 129 in stock here been looking. Don't have a smartwatch currently.

Difference between the 43 vs 47mm? That's worth 30$ more?
slightly bigger battery, more real state on the touch screen, and the 47mm looks a lot better. I would only recommend the 43 for women with small arms

Just ordered one for next-day delivery. Shall see if it shows. For $99 this is a good deal. Must be trying to clear out old stuff to make way for the Galaxy 8 coming out soon.
