this PSU is $110+ at every other vendor that I can find. good quality PSU for a budget build. should handle something like an RTX 5070 and AMD CPU without a problem. intel CPUs are a mixed bag. you'll have to consult PSU wattage calculators if you use intel.

shipping was free for me, but i have amazon prime. if you don't have prime, i think shipping is like $6. don't quote me on that.

Got this as replacement for an Antec earthwatts 500D that is coming up near the 15 yr mark. Figure it's only a matter of time that the Antec gives up the ghost.

Well, C-tier according to the PSU tier list.

Which is fine. C tier from a known brand shouldn't blow up your PC. It should hold up. It's just budget parts.

The reason I wouldn't want this model is because it's known to be loud.

Is 5070 considered a budget GPU?

I'm not a fan of a refurbished PSU. It seems like the wrong place to buy something that's likely to have problems. I buy refurb GPUs all the time though.

Agreed and thanks for the heads up. I was about in on this until I went back and saw Woot. Seems like it's been a long time since we've seen psu deals in this range.
