According to CCC its been $230 several times this year, so this is about 13% lower than the previous lowest price. The Cam 3 4 pack with homebase is also on sale but a little bit more than it's lowest ever price but wonder if that would be a better buy or getting this and the homebase. Is the homebase needed, its $120 on its own? So this with the homebase would be $320 vs $436 for the Cam3 kit.

This is a good deal if you have a need for 4 cameras. I have two of these and they generally work well. I need to recharge them once or twice in the winter months but that's because they are partially in the shade. Picture is good for a 2k camera.

I got this 4 pack deal for $160 last May. It was the best deal but that was before Trump Tarriffs.

newegg has Fantastech sale for this 4-pack for $200 and can also get homebase 3 for $100 with $50 off code. I went that option plus a couple of C220 indoor ptz cams for $29 each with $6 discount. Total for 4 outdoor, 2 indoor ptz, and homebase 3, including taxes, came to $387.
fwiw, I was following the eufy pre-sale prime sale that ended yesterday, and I feel like there were better deals to be had, especially if you could snag the gift card discount deal ($380 for $300, $650 for $500).

I installed 4 of these in March 2025. Were easy to install. Paired with my Eufy 380 Homebase with a 400 GB SSD. This is where they store video clips. Cameras are facing north and south. They generally stay above 90% charged. I'll see how the north facing ones charge during winter months. The app works fine. No lag to speak of when viewing in real time. Can customize the video clips to specific lengths of time. I have mine set to Optimal Battery which take 15-20 second clips when motion is detected. The street facing cameras rarely take videos of cars which is nice. Overall I'm very satisfied with the performance of these cameras, and would buy them again. Note that I have nothing to compare them to as this is my first dive into hone security.

I have had very mixed results with Eufy cameras, especially this model. Two out of three stopped charging within a month. Eufy gave me a refund, but it's still frustrating to have that high failure rate. I have not had any Eufy outdoor cameras last more than 18 months. If you use the mobile app, the biggest frustration is the constant ads for Eufy products, special events, and other unnecessary distractions.

have a couple of these, initially they were good but then.. 1) the solar film starts peeling. As a result it doesn't charge completely and also the charge runs out soon. Since it was under warranty I reached out to eufy. after a lot of back and forth and documentation, they try to upsell me but did not fulfill the warranty. 2) prior to this I had a different eufy kit with 5, 2C cams??, but the plastic knub/prong/tooth that holds it at taught as you affix it, broke off when I had to take it down to recharge every month, they wanted 30 for replacement plastic!

in for a set, I'm switching all my home cameras to eufy, the old set from laview doesn't let me snooze whenever the wind is strong on one of the cameras and it doesn't do human detection

Think I know the answer to this, but will these work with HomeBase 2? If not, does EUFY have any type of exchange program where I can trade in my HomeBase 2 and cameras for HomeBase 3 + cameras? Probably wishful thinking.
