the msrp seems mis-leading.
Would recommend this for anyone moving up to intermediate play. Its solid, performs as expected. For those who are moving beyond "just get the ball over" to "I want to place it in specific spots or drops."
Pros: Good soft touch and control.
Con: Lack of reach and power.
From reading the reviews, I would caution 2 things (which may be related):
1. Joola paddles are usually decent, but reliability is terrible. Very high failure and delamination rate in 2 to 6 months of regular use.
2. Joola is a brand that has tons of counterfeits (go look on Aliex or Tem). As with all things Amazon, the inventory between 3rd party seller and Amazon.com is mixed, so you may end up getting a counterfeit even when purchased through Amazon.com as the seller. This may also explain partly for the #1 above, not sure.
Also, looks like this specific paddle has a high return rate. Some people are actualy getting used paddles when it arrives. If it looks used, return it right away.
Lastly, those ratings posted by OP are hogwash, not sure where that came from, probably from Joola. For one thing, the spin on this paddle is mediocre at best, especially at the given msrp price point.
