Bold claim. I have a bidet and personally I feel that the 'no wipe' is a myth. Even if you're going off of faith, there's always the '1 wipe to check' routine, or you're gonna have a bad time.

I'll say it, anybody who doesn't have one of these needs to get one right now.

You'll never want to wipe ever again, it'll be repulsive just to think about. Ask anybody who has one, it's life changing.

I got this exact bidet a couple years ago (two of them; one for each bathroom)
The commenter who said they are life-changing did not exaggerate. Using a bidet-less bathroom now feels like an insult.
The water that comes out will be cold, so if you need fancy warm water, be warned. But I got used to the cold water pretty quickly. It's… refreshing!

How does this compare to the handheld type? I have the handheld and I use it to clean up the toilet as well.

Sounds like one could just use the shower head 🤔

I mean… it's not handheld. So that's the comparison. It's not handheld. It lacks handheldedness.

That's fair. What I meant was how "clean" to use the seating bidet. I've never used them so not sure how accurate it is, in terms of, you know, "aiming". With the handheld I can kinda guide it to where it needs to be.

Handheld sounds like a pain to use. They make mountable ones which you can aim, but I just shimmy about until it hits everywhere. Takes all of 4 seconds start to finish.

I mean, you still need to dry off, so you'll know if you need to do a little more when you use the 5-6 sheets of toilet paper to do a drying wipe. In reality if you use the bidet for 4-5 seconds it's as clean as it's going to get without actually bathing.

A huge difference between wiping your butt until it kinda feels clean (without a bidet) and just drying.

Oh that's no doubt, just saying the statement "you'll never wipe again" is a wild claim.

Yep, its not true. You still have to dry. So youll still need to buy toilet paper (just less). Or, i guess you can keep an ass-drying towel by the toilet. And share it with everyone else lmao

In our culture, we don't typically use paper to wipe, so we use bidets. We have come a long way from handheld devices to now using warm water, which has spoiled me. My Costco bio bidet went bad after the warranty, never going to buy that model or from that company. Waiting for the Toto deal, anyway, since this is summer, I will try this, and once I get the Toto, I will install this in the other bathroom.
But, I advised a couple of my friends 10 years back, and then, I installed it in their bathrooms. Their exact comment was the same: it's a life-changing event, and they told me now, going out somewhere, wiping it with paper feels so bad.

I had a similar experience with the Costco bio bidet. I quickly got over the warm water & heated fan, so i never felt the need to get a fancy bidet again. the cool splash is invigorating!
