What about the 5800xt? Newegg has a combo deal and it's $133 on Amazon. Thinking of upgrading an old system with 3700X.
I went from a 3900x to the 5900xt, so far I'm happy, my reasoning is that this would be the only CPU upgrade worth it to me, since I gained extra cores. For your case, it depends, the 5800xt is faster, can handle more OC, but uses more power, do you really need it? Would it be more prudent to save it for an AM5 build? As for the bundle, what comes in it? Does it come with more RAM? New MB? Are there any games that you need the 5800xt for?

How are the temps on the CCDs of your 5900xt? On mine the 1st CCD is about 5-6C higher than the 2nd CCD under heavy load which I find weird because on my other CPUs the 2nd CCD runs hotter, and that seems to be the case for most people. Maybe they didn't bin the 5900xt the same way as previous models.
What do you guys think of the 7800X3D vs this chip, it would be for a future build.
The 5950x would only make sense if you're upgrading an older AM3 generation CPU. A full system new build around a 5950x makes little sense. Anything AM4, even a Ryzen 7600, makes better long term sense.

Copy, i have AM4 motherboard, did some research and would have to upgrade my CPU and my GPU plus airflow, what do you think about the Ryzen 7 7700x3D

You'll notice a huge difference between both. If you can afford it, then don't think twice
