So in that respect, this is a good chance to pick up a pair, especially in something other than black.
The unknown is how EF compare as the seller, compared to Amazon, but I suspect they'll just drop ship them from an Amazon warehouse anyway, like they did with some tips I received from EF.
As headphones, these might not be the ultimate in sound quality, but they are good value, and feature rich for the price. Also well-liked by many users. One could do worse with other brands in the same price range.
And their support has been responsive when I've contacted them.
However, I would skip the silicone cover for the case; it's not a $10 item, or any of them in general, unless one really has the desire to carry the case on its own, with some small degree of superficial protection.
I received one during a promo on Amazon when I bought the heaphones, but would not purchase one otherwise. I keep my EF case inside a small EVA case, or in the pocket of a larger pack.
