I WANT this monitor but I already have a nice monitor setup. It's a really good deal though.

I wonder what the warranty situation is with BuyDig via eBay. I know there is a warranty, but that only means so much with this monitor.

BuyDig is a Samsung Authorized seller and the listing says "Samsung 1 Year Limited Warranty"

Sure, but do I have to go through BuyDig or Samsung? It seems retailers tend to support this monitor better than Samsung, sometimes. This is about the best price I've seen on this monitor, aside from price errors.

I assume through Samsung unless you're within the 30-day return policy. And yeah, this is $160 less than the EPP/EDU offer right now (though that includes a free second monitor). If I was buying, I'd personally go with this eBay deal.

Is JULYFINDS the code to get 20% off? Because when I try this, it's saying it can't be applied to your order. It's not just this monitor, I tried it with other slickdeal posts where JULYFINDS was mentioned. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong please?

If you add to your cart and go to the checkout screen, there should be a Gift Cards and Coupons section at the bottom. Mine had a checkbox to auto-apply the coupon code, and it works.

This is an amazing deal. I have a 49 inch ultra wide and this would just be comical.

I wish I didn't know the Walmart glitch. Now I just can't pull the trigger when price is above the glitch price lol

Yeah, I have one and its monstrous. You honestly need a monitor arm or else it ends up dominating most desks.

I'm using one right now, it only looks big when you are looking at it from the side or at a distance. When you are actually using it, it feels just right. I use mine for work and stuff, no gaming. But I bet it would be amazing for gaming if you're into that kinda thing and have a powerful computer, because this thing has twice the pixels as 16:9 monitor.
I run mine at 7680 x 2160 120hz 150% scale from a single HDMI cable HDR off from my laptop
I use Microsoft Powertoys Fancyzones docking windows or just snap left/right / whatever.
Most apps I use don't need the full screen, so I usually am setup w/ side app. It can be distracting having things open that are not your main focus, but it's great at multitasking.
I find that a 21:9 monitor is well suited for a widescreen single app, where this 32:9 is better suited for multiple apps at once.
I would much prefer this to a 49" version, and I would even go bigger if they made one bigger.
Also, this monitor doesn't have any of the annoying Samsung Smart TV features, because it's not trying to be a TV. And the speakers suck on it, but who cares it's a monitor.

Dang, looks like it was a price mistake. Went to order and it's now showing $1999 and $1599 after 20% off. Sigh.

Good thing gaming isn't the only thing a computer is for. This is ideal for general office use. This baby can fit so many excel workbooks.
